Is Buplex safe to take together with prescribed medicine ?

The following medicines should not be taken at the same time as Buplex:

  1. Low dose aspirin (75mg).
  2. Other anti inflammatory drugs (commonly called Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs or NSAIDs).
  3. Anti-coagulants like warfarin or heparin (used to make your blood thinner).
  4. A drug called ticlopidine, also used to make your blood thinner.
  5. A drug called methothrexte, generally used to treat cancer.

There are also some drugs that should be taken with particular caution while also taking Buplex. For full details about these medicines please ask your doctor or pharmacist or read carefully the Patient Information Leaflet which you find in your Buplex pack.
